La cosa strana è che questo inconveniente non si verifica quando assisto ad un match come spettatore... in quel caso l'azione è fluidissima.
E' normale?

Non credo che si tratti di un problema di connessione... ho una fibra da 100 MB e lo speed test mi da sempre risultati intorno ai 96 MB. Inoltre mi collego sempre tramite cavo ethernet.
La cosa strana è che durante i match in cui faccio da spettatore non c'è il minimo lag... sono cosi' fluidi che mi sembra di avere un monitor a 244 hz.
Ovviamente ho anche già letto ampiamente la guida di Lascax sul Legion 5 Pro.
Ho anche aggiornato i driver video all'ultima versione... non so più cosa fare 😅
Ciao @Alex339933 Visto che hai letto la guida, presuppongo che hai già attivato Modalità Performance, Dedicata, Overdrive, G-Sync e Overclock, quindi andiamo direttamente su altre possibilità.
Innanzitutto, ti dico che ho testato Fortnite con tutto al massimo eccetto le Ombre da Ultra ad High e alcuni effetti di riflesso dell'acqua.
Non ho giocato direttamente io, ma ho semplicemente fatto provare il gioco a fine Aprile a mio nipote per vederne le prestazioni.
Una delle primissime cose che ha fatto è stato impostare il Limite per gli fps a 165, poichè applicarlo solitamente va a forte beneficio della stabilità se il PC è in grado di fare di più.
Durante il gameplay ho notato dei lows sui 120 fps, 100 fps in rarissimi casi ma perlopiù fisso a 165, quindi innanzitutto vai col limiter e abbassa qualche effettino.
Come seconda prova, valuta di testare la risoluzione 1980x1200p, e vedi se noti ancora questi sbalzi così costanti. Se avvengono, c'è qualcosa che non va nell'esecuzione diretta del gioco e quindi molto probabilmente un problema software ( applicazioni in background, driver non ottimali - e purtroppo NVidia ha fatto degli errori in questi mesi - o comunque qualcosa legato ai programmi e non all'hardware ).
Se non avvengono, allora mi sa che andiamo sul "problema" da me descritto in un'altra discussione, ma del quale ti mostro un video:
Riassumendo, a 16Gb di RAM hai una maggiore chance che il Processore Ryzen non venga sfruttato appieno e che ci siano dei low1% abbastanza visibili rispetto a 32Gb di RAM. Per quello non ci resterà che fare un upgrade appena possibile in futuro, stando attenti a prendere un modello di RAM Dual Rank col valore specifico indicato nel video abbastanza decente ( informazione che si trova nel Discord non-ufficiale del quale parlo nelle mie guide ). Su questo non c'è molto da fare: è una caratteristica del Ryzen e della RAM 2x8 inclusa da Lenovo.Ciò non significa che il PC non è buono ( affatto, è un portento rispetto la media ), ma che semplicemente ha bisogno di più RAM e di qualità migliore di quella stock per performare al meglio.

Eccoti, ora, un riepilogo delle impostazioni che ho attivato per massimizzare le performance del mio Legion 5 PRO:
- Modalità PERFORMANCE attivata da LENOVO VANTAGE (led di colore rosso sul laptop)
- OVERDRIVE attivato (sempre da LENOVO VANTAGE)
- Modalità IBRIDA disattivata (sempre da LENOVO VANTAGE)
- DISCRETE CARD selezionata da BIOS)
- Gsync ON (finestra e schermo intero)
- Overclock (100 - 200)
Se provo a spingermi ai valori massimi 150 e 300 il portatile diventa instabile e si blocca... sebbene le temperature interne non superino gli 80 gradi... è normale?
- Driver Nvidia aggiornati all'ultima versione
La cosa strana relativa a FORTNITE è che la modalità spettatore è fluidissima... non si avverte il minimo scatto. Se fosse così anche durante il gioco vero e proprio non avrei nulla di che lamentarmi.
@Alex339933 È strano che a 150/300 il portatile diventa instabile. In che momenti lo diventa? Solo con Fortnite o con i giochi? O durante altri momenti? Prova anche ad aprire GPU-z ( un programma gratuito ) e controlla, per mera curiositò, se la memoria VRAM è Samsung o Micron.
Come consigliato da @Walter controlla le prestazioni con altri giochi, sia intensi sia da esports ( tipo Siege ).
Monitora anche le temperature durante il gameplay con dei tool appositi, tipo MSI Afterburner, così da capire se è dovuto anche a quello.
Inoltre, hai il laptop su una base che lo tiene sollevato e dà libero sfogo all'aria espulsa senza problemi?
Infine, prova anche alternativamente a disabilitare il G-sync e l'Overdrive. In teoria non dovrebbero causare problemi, ma in rarissimi casi possono incidere.
@Lascax In stato di overclock 150/300, il portatile diventa instabile quando faccio partire Timespy per più di 2 volte consecutive... la terza volta mi si blocca sempre tutto e sono costretto a spegnere forzatamente il sistema tramite il tasto di accensione. Ora, mi rendo conto che il 3DMARK sia un benchmark parecchio pesante, ma il Legion 5 Pro dovrebbe per lo meno riuscire ad eseguirlo senza impallarsi.
Sapreste dirmi fino a che valore le temperature della CPU e della GPU possono essere considerate accettabili? Durante il test della CPU di Timespy, quest'ultima supera i 90 gradi... è normale?
Il portatile lo tengo sospeso ad una certa distanza dal tavolo di lavoro tramite un supporto.
A breve mi arriverà una base di raffreddamento acquistata per l'occasione (sperando che serva effettivamente a qualcosa 😅).
Ho verificato con GPU-Z: la VRAM è della Micron.
Più tardi faccio tutte le prove che mi avete consigliato e vi comunico i risultati.

@Alex339933 Le temperature che sfiorano i 90, anche con picco 92 gradi, durante i test più pesanti sono normali per la CPU. I Ryzen di quinta generazione per portatili sono fatti così.
Poi solitamente si stabilizzano sugli 85. Ovviamente in un benchmark breve non vedrai tale stabilizzazione.
Il supporto, specie se ventilato, aiuta sempre. L'importante è che il portatile abbia spazi sui lati e dietro, e anche sotto o perlomeno una ventola attiva sotto. C'era uno stupendo stand senza ventola della Lenovo ( casualmente ) anni fa che era minimale ma efficace nel tenere sollevati i laptop, però purtroppo non si trovano più. Spero torni in produzione:
Riguardo la VRAM: Micron è quella che regge un pelo meno l'overclocking ( ce l'ho pure io di quella marca ), ma quello di base non dovrebbe avere problemi. Chiedevo solo per ragguagli. Forse purtroppo hai uno stock della GPU che tiene meno 150/300, e potrebbe darsi perchè, dato lo stramaledetto periodo in cui ci troviamo, il silicio "binned" che viene accettato per la produzione col tempo sembra stare decrescendo di qualità. Insomma: con stà crisi purtroppo il compromesso è accettare anche livelli di qualità minori pur di non produrre per nulla.

Purtroppo, nel frattempo, mi si di nuovo bloccato il laptop durante una sessione a Fortnite... mi sa che dovrò contattare l'assistenza sperando che si tratti solo di un problema software.
E vorrei provare a sostituire le RAM con 2 banchi da 16 GB (32 GB in totale) per vedere se la situazione migliora.
Sapreste consigliarmi dei banchi di RAM ottimi per questo portatile (un po' come quello indicati da Jarod sul suo canale per intenderci)?

Legion Community enables its registered users (the “Users") to post and share content, such as information about Lenovo products, services, events, social media activity and videos ("Content”) to the Platform.
Legion Community is provided by Lenovo through the services of Standing on Giants subject to these Terms (“Terms”). We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time and without notice. If we amend the Terms, we will post the amended Terms on this page and indicate at the top of the page the date the Terms were last revised. Your continued use of the Platform after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
By accessing or using Legion Community you signify that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, then you should not access or use the Platform.

Your Use of Legion Community Platform

Your Content Posted or Linked to Legion Community
Lenovo allows you to submit posts or link content to Legion Community, including photos, images, videos, sounds, comments, links, tweets, likes, and other materials. A Legion Community moderator will moderate all posts after publication. Lenovo reserves the right to remove user’s content that it considers to be irrelevant to the purpose of the platform, or that it considers violates any of these Terms. Lenovo may also post or link to the Platform any of your Content that you make available to Lenovo for the Platform. You are solely responsible for your Content that is posted or linked to the Platform and Lenovo accepts no liability for your Content.
You grant Lenovo and other users of the Platform a non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable, worldwide license to use, store, display, reproduce, modify, create derivative works of, perform, publish, re-post, re-tweet, and distribute your Content on or in connection with the Platform.

Representations and Warranties
You represent and warrant that:

When using Legion Community, you will comply with all applicable laws and regulations, and all terms of use and similar rules concerning your use of any Social Media Outlet or other third party publishing platform.
Upon our request made to you from time to time, you will cooperate with us and allow us access to your systems, communications, and records solely in connection with determining your compliance with these Terms.
Visiting Third Party Websites
The Platform may contain links to third party websites, advertisers, products, services, offers, or other events or activities that are not owned or controlled by Lenovo. Lenovo does not assume any responsibility for any such third party sites, information, materials, products, services or offers. If you access any third party website, product, service, or content from the Platform, you do so at your own risk and you agree that Lenovo will have no liability arising from your use of or access to any third party website, product, service, or content.
Trademarks and Ownership of Intellectual Property
Lenovo™, the Lenovo logo, and certain other product names and phrases are trademarks or service marks of Lenovo in the U.S. and/or other countries. Termination
You may terminate use of the Platform at any time for any reason (in other words, un-register). Upon termination, all licenses and other rights granted to you in these Terms will immediately cease. Following termination, Lenovo may retain your Content for a commercially reasonable period of time for backup, archival, or audit purposes. Furthermore, Lenovo and its other users may retain and continue to use, store, display, reproduce, modify, create derivative works of, perform, and distribute any of your Content that other users have stored or shared through the Platform.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Lenovo and its employees, officers, affiliates and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including without limitation, reasonable attorney's fees and costs, arising out of or in any way connected with any of the following: (i) Your Content or your misuse of the Platform; (ii) your breach or alleged breach of these Terms; (iii) your violation of any third party right, including without limitation, any intellectual property right, publicity, confidentiality, property or privacy right; (iv) your violation of any laws, rules, regulations, codes, statutes, ordinances or orders of any governmental authorities, including, without limitation, all regulatory, administrative and legislative authorities; or (v) any misrepresentation made by you. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England.
Entire Agreement; Severability
These Terms, together with Lenovo’s Data Privacy Policy and any amendments and any additional agreements you may enter into with Lenovo in connection with the Platform, shall constitute the entire agreement between you and Lenovo concerning the Platform. If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid, then that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in full force and effect.
Limitations of Liability
Neither Lenovo nor its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, third party content providers, sponsors, or licensors warrant that the Site will be continuous, uninterrupted or error-free. THE PLATFORM, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ITS CONTENT, IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS.
