So I've historically been a big fan of emulation, but I also spend a significant portion of my disposable income on my personal collection. In some ways, I feel I've earned the right to emulate...but I also know that it's theoretically stealing from the company that owns the IP (presuming that you don't also buy the game you're emulating). There seems to be a large number of folks who justify it by citing it as game preservation...but I don't always buy that when it seems like they're just looking to play games they never bought.
I'm not here to bash anyone's perspective on this stuff, but I'm very curious to know where folks stand on this issue since it's been a pretty hot topic lately.
