Managing a gaming backlog

How do you manage an excessive gaming backlog? I have dozens of unplayed games on steam, dozens more on a 3DS console, old wii games, and others I can't even think of. How does one prioritize without getting stretched too thin? Do you schedule game time or keep a spreadsheet? Let me know in the comments.
