Outlast 1 or 2?

I just finished Outlast and started Outlast 2 on pc. I, personally am getting bored with it, as it seems a little harder because you are out in the woods and mountains, and you have to keep your flashlight on quite a bit, which runs you out of batteries, or turn it off and can't see in pitch black. I've heard others say they like 2 better. Just wondering what your thoughts are.
