Protecting my Laptop

Anybody else has the urge to or actually uses military grade equipment when carrying around their legion laptop like . Like if at all possible I try to keep mine glued my desk in my dorm room. So anytime I think of carrying it to class I wish I had one of those Pelican military grade laptop carrying cases .
