After using web-based Gmail for a long time, and Thunderbird before that, I've been looking into different email apps. I did some searching to see what the top ones are right now.
Here's what I found:
Outlook seems to be very popular for Windows users, probably because it works so well with other Microsoft programs.
It's no surprise that Thunderbird is still a top open-source option. It's been a while since I used it, but I might check it out again since it's been around for so long and has good features.
eM Client came up, but it only lets you add two email accounts for free before you have to pay. That's a bit of a limitation if you have more emails.
I was surprised to find Opera Mail on the list, as I only knew about their web browser. I learned it's actually been discontinued in 2016. So don't expect support for that.
So, for Windows, what's your go-to email app? I'm curious about features, how well it performs, and how it integrates with other things.
