Roblox just shattered the record with 47.29M players in-game at the same time—the most ever on any gaming platform.
For comparison, Steam’s all-time peak is 41.2M online, but that includes people just logged in, not actively playing. Steam’s record for in-game players is only 13.2M—Roblox more than tripled that.
The spike came from the wild Admin Abuse War event between Grow a Garden and Steal a Brainrot. Both games pulled in over 20M players each, and the event was so massive it briefly crashed Roblox.
Grow a Garden hit a new best with 22.3M, while Steal a Brainrot peaked at 20.1M.
So yeah… Roblox might officially be the new king of gaming platforms.
Did you join the event? Who were you rooting for—and do you think the right game won?
