@Saka Same. I am making my way through Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 right now. BG3 is on my list too, but I am not a big fan of isometric perspective, so it is in the middle of the list. After KCD2, I will either play Atomic Heart if the last DLC is out by then, or if not, then Rise of the Ronin. And after I am done with that, we'll see.

And same for the weather, too. Not about the cold, but about general sentiment. In my case, we got some snow during the night, but now it's plus and all is melting, there is slippery sludge everywhere, and commute that normally takes you 10 minutes now needs half an hour. And today a small icicle almost fell on me. Ugh. I wish the weather chose what it wants to be: cold or warm, instead of trying to be both at the same time 😖

@DoctorEldritch In my parts of the world the weather decided to roleplay an industrial freezer. I went out to capture a gym and came back with blue fingers. 😅 It seems like nobody is playing in this weather anymore, the gyms are not getting flipped and the whole island is blue. I don't wanna walk far in this weather!

@Saka Sorry, the gym, do you mean where people go to train? Lift weights and all that?

Blue fingers does sound serious. My fingers get cold quite easily, maybe due to lower circulation. I find that what helps is to wear mittens instead of gloves, so that fingers would be close together (except for the poor lonely thumb 👍) and keep warm. Did you wear gloves or mittens?

@DoctorEldritch Pokemon Gym. I had gloves, but I took my hand out for a bit to be able to tap my phone.

Interesting observation you shared about the mittens. I need to find mine and see if they fare better in this weather.

I hope you can find them and they do. I find that for me they make it better. And if you need to use your phone, one other thing that you could do is get those touchscreen stickers that you can put on gloves (and maybe even mittens) so that you could tap your smartphone without the need to take your gloves off.

Total War Warhammer 40,000 and Total War Medieval 3 are the new ones, and with TW Warhammer, you will have something for all.

@ChristianRasmussen One can hope that they will not botch 40K version, since they have practice with the "normal" Warhammer but, to be honest, I am still worried. 40K has its own special wibe. Nomal Warhammer is good, but fundamentally not that different from various other "fantasy"settings, like D&D-based ones and the like, but 40K has it's own distinct vibe, it is important to get it right. We'll see what happens.

I am sure Games Workshop have send them tons of material so they know what they are doing.

@ChristianRasmussen Dawn of War were indeed uneven in quality of their games over the years. The first part was good, but the third, well...

Games Workshop may be lucky with this, but there is a risk, too, I think. Just being allowed to use it and getting a lot of lore material is not enough, after all. You must also "get" it and know how to use it well. I mean, look at Star Wars: they have a lot of lore material and all, but most of new films and series we got were rather meh at best (imho, of course). 40K too had a few series and games, but not that many really good ones, either. About time they get a win, hope DoW 4 will be it.

@DoctorEldritch Yes, everything can go bad, but with all the DLCs there is plenty of time and options to alter the state of the game.
