    Hello Legion Gamers!

A bit of an update about one of the upcoming games I was waiting for: Witchbrook. They finally shared a release date trailer for January 28th.

Not the last quarter of 2026 that the Steam page had initially, but not too far off. Unless they move it again.

After all, it's been a long and bumpy road already. The indie game is over 10 years in the making, and went through renaming (it was first called Spellbound) and several delays already. Now hopefully the final release date is set, and even the price.

Something to look forward to next year. @Telomina I thought I'd tag you just in case, we mentioned this game in passing several times before. And I guess it may be of interest to anyone who watches the new Harry Potter series as it is due to come out right in the middle of it airting. So those enjoying Wizarding World can experience a cosier version at the same time?

How about it? Does it seem enchanting enticing?

@DoctorEldritch This reminds me of a very specific Facebook game that I can't name from the top of my head, but very nostalgic!

@UnapologeticDino I thought of Stardew Valley, but then I do not have much experience with Facebook games 😅

@DoctorEldritch I will not be watching the new Harry Potter series as the author of the books are using the money(any income from the franchaise) to try and take rights away (a secondary source found here.) from marginalized communities that are already struggling with huge rates of mental health issues since they're so discriminated against.

Witchbrooke however, is a game I'm curious about. But I think a huge part of how fun it is will be who you play the game with. Which makes me wonder if the game will actually be fun in itself, or if it more facilitate a room for you and your friends to create fun youselves.

@Telomina I was not planning on watching it myself either, though it's more that I can't be bothered. It's not something I can get excited about. I am honestly not sure why we need another HP medium while ignoring many other stories that deserve a chance.

Wait, is that what Witchbrook is going to be? I thought it would have a decent enough single-player mode. Like how Stardew Valley had first before it got that co-op patch. If it is primarily a co-op experience, then that would give cause for concern indeed.

@DoctorEldritch I am not sure what their original plans are. But seeing the latest showcases, that is how I feel.
