Exciting news for the Legion EMEA gaming community! Legion is teaming up with talented comic illustrator and game designer @SalvaEspin to celebrate the dual lives that us gamers lead.
Normal people by day but warlocks and warriors by night, raise your hand if you can relate! In their research, Lenovo Legion found that over half (52%) of gamers identify with their online alter-ego more than their real-life identity. I know we have a whole load of members of our community who embrace this duality - I know I do! There’s no better feeling than defeating my enemies with a magic spell after a long day at work 💫
To celebrate our second skin gaming alter egos, @SalvaEspin has put his talents to work and created a collection of 5 limited-edition stickers that combine the on and offline world, which are perfect for adding to your Lenovo gaming laptop.
But even better, we get the chance to help design the next one!

How to enter?
To be in with a chance of winning, simply submit your ‘second skin’ design by replying to this thread by 26th January! Salva will select his favourite, and work with them to transform their design into a finished comic character.Remember to include all those little things that make you unique in your design, and let your imagination run free. After all, you are designing your own video game character!! Blue hair? Horns? Angel wings? The sky's the limit!

Terms & Conditions
Lenovo Legion Second Skin CompetitionThis competition is run by Lenovo, Shangdi Information Industry Base, No. 6 Chuang Ye Road, Haidian District, 100085 Beijing, China (hereinafter “Lenovo“).
1. ELIGIBILITY OF PARTICIPANTS
- Participants must be at least 18 years of age.
- Participants must not be residents of the following countries: Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, East China, Cuba and Iran.
- Participants must not be residents of the following location/s: Quebec.
- Employees of Lenovo are excluded from participation in the competition.
- Lenovo reserves the right, upon its sole discretion, to exclude participants on valid grounds, such as but not limited to:
- Violation of the rules of this competition;
- Manipulation of the technical process or administration of this competition;
- Undue conduct; or
- False or misleading statements regarding participation in this competition.
There is no requirement for the purchase of any good or service offered by Lenovo or any third company affiliated to either of the aforementioned, and/or any of their business partners. Purchase of any such good or service does not increase the participant’s chances in this competition.
3. PROCEDURE OF THE COMPETITION
- Participants will enter the competition by registering on the Legion EMEA community and uploading an image of their entry, each granting a defined number of entries upon completion.
- There will be 1 winner, drawn from all valid entries.
- The winner will be contacted via email after Thursday, 2nd February 2023.
- Once they have been contacted, the winners have 48 hours to give a reply with all the required information. Otherwise, a new winner would be picked.
The competition starts on Thursday, January 12th 2023 at 9am CET and ends on Thursday, January 26th 2023 at 5pm CET.
5. ELIGIBILITY
Upon participating, participants guarantee fulfillment of these Terms and Conditions. Participants agree to release and hold harmless Lenovo from any third-party-claim arising from any violation of the guidelines by the participant.
6. PRIZES
There will be one prize in total for the competition. The ARV of all prizes awarded in this competition is €2500. The winner will receive one (1) prize.
The prize is as follows:
- 1hr private coaching session with Salva Espín, professional comic artist and game designer, to see their design created in a professional way
- The winning design, once professionalized, will then be published in the Legion Gaming Community social channels
- Set of 5 Second Skin stickers designed by Salva Espín
- Lenovo Legion Laptop (either model of the following: Legion 7 or Slim 7 X70)
- The total value of the prizes is €2500 USD
Participants transfer to Lenovo and their legal representatives and assign the irrevocable, unlimited, worldwide, free-of-charge, non-exclusive and transferable right to reproduce, disseminate, adapt, edit in full or in part (especially with regard to digitization or encryption of the contributions) – Including, but not limited to, audio and / or video and / or other illustrations in all known media and usage forms, with regard to protective rights also in all unknown media and usage forms for any purpose commercial or non-commercial, in particular worldwide for advertising, promotion, sales and merchandising purposes as well as the name, the picture and the photo of each participant in this context-free of charge in its sole discretion. In as far as copyrights are concerned, the conditions customary in the industry must be offered by the participant for still unknown uses. The participant agrees that he does not receive any compensation for the use of the contribution. Legal claims remain unaffected. Lenovo is therefore also entitled to transfer the rights of use to third parties and to alter and adapt the participants’ contents.
8. LIABILITY
To the extent permitted by law Lenovo is not responsible for:
(1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by a participant, printing errors or omission, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the competition;
(2) technical failures of any kind including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network, hardware, or software;
(3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the uploading process;
(4) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the competition or the processing of videos, or
(5) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused directly or indirectly, in whole or in part from participants' participation in the competition.
Lenovo is responsible for prize availability, but not for prize utility or quality or otherwise.
The reporting and payment of any taxes on prizes, if necessary, are the sole responsibility of the winner.
As far as permissible by law Lenovo’s liability for damages is limited to gross negligence and intent.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, Lenovo shall be liable for any negligent breach of essential obligations, the violation of which endangers attainment of the contractual purpose, or for the violation of obligations, the fulfillment of which is crucial for the proper execution of the competition or upon the compliance with which the contractual partners regularly trust. In this case, Lenovo shall only be liable for the foreseeable damage typical for the contract.
The beforementioned limitations of liability shall not apply in the event of injury to life, body and health.
Insofar as the liability of Lenovo is excluded or limited, this shall also apply to the personal liability of employees, representatives and vicarious agents of Lenovo.
9. PRIVACY
Lenovo limits collection and use of the data of participants (such as email address, age, country) to the extent legally permitted and consented to by participants. Participants upon participation in this competition agree to Lenovo’s use of the data delivered by participants for this competition, and are subject to the wider Privacy policy of the Legion EMEA gaming community.
10. REVOCATION, TERMINATION AND WITHDRAWAL
Participants at any time during the competition may withdraw from the competition. Within reasonable time upon notification (by sending a message on the community to the relevant Community Manager), Lenovo will delete the entry submitted.
Lenovo reserves the right to cancel or end the competition at any time, without notice or reason.
11. SEVERABILITY
If any term, provision, covenant or condition of this agreement is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, void, or unenforceable, the rest of the agreement shall remain in full force and effect and shall in no way be affected, impaired or invalidated. The invalid, void, or unenforceable provision, covenant or condition shall be replaced by such term, provision, covenant or condition as to be found valid, or enforceable, thereby coming as close as possible to the regulation being replaced by it.
The same shall occur, if any term, provision, covenant or condition shall be found missing in this agreement to constitute a gap in the regulations.
The contest takes place in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Therefore, the laws of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland exclusively apply to this contest regardless of the location from which the participant takes part in this contest.
