I am a pretty big comic book fan since my mom bought me two comic books (Captain America and Superman) from a yard sale across the street when I was a kid in the early eighties. I immediately fell in love with comics and started going to the local comic book store starting with The Silver Surfer which caught my eye when I first started browsing. My love for comics lead to a love for graphic novels and anime as well so I was wondering if anyone had any favorites that have released any the past year or any that you are launching soon that you are excited about. My favorite so far this year is Scarlet Witch which I highly recommend especially for Marvel fans. I am also looking forward to the Dawn of DC series and Marvel's Ultimate Invasion both of which should be coming out soon. There is also a Marvel's Silk comic and a new DC Titans comic that I am hopeful for. As far as graphic novels, anime and books go, I recently got into Star Wars: The High Republic Phase 2, Captain Americ Ghost Army, and Inferno Girl Red, an anime novel my friend recommended that i am enjoying so far. Do you have anything to recommend especially in the anime genre as it seems not much has come out that seemed interesting except Inferno Girl Red. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
