We have 7 monitors in our house, 6 of which have 0 dead pixels. 1 of them has a dead pixel in the top left area. You can guess who drew that straw. 😅
I'm a simple man so I don't get bothered by it. I look at the bigger picture and ignore that one pixel, but I know some people would riot against it. It's also at the top left segment so it's not "stabbing my eyes" either. And for the info, warranty is no longer valid, but sometimes it's hard to RMA even with one.
I'd love to hear what do you do when you see a dead pixel on your screen? Do you tolerate them up to a certain number, or at certain spots? What are your experiences with RMAs on monitors with dead pixels?
