With laptops generally trying to become more thinner, this can lead to more soldered components or components arranged in a way that makes it difficult to swap out for repairs or upgrades. This eventually leads to more e-waste when people opt to get a whole new laptop.
Companies like Framework pride themselves on being user-friendly and easy to repair, however their performance can't compete with the high end yet.
