I've recently been very interested in building a home server/database for data storage and retrieval. I don't know how to approach it. My goal is to turn my PC into a server that can store and serve data (images, videos, text, files, etc) upon request from an external device or a command.
I want to be able to use it online and offline, in case the internet goes down.
Does anyone have any experience with this kind of project? If so, some guidance would be appreciated. Thank you!
