What do you think of the overall design of the 2025 Legion laptops? Are they better or worse? I personally think the design was worse than the 2024 ones. Mainly because of the logo being centered and it looks gamery, especially on the pro 7i. It doesn't look professional as the previous models.
Speaking of the pro 7i, Lenovo decided to put the ports on the side instead of on the back which is really sad as it was a major selling point for most people. I think this decision could be because they want to achieve better cooling/efficiency but who knows really?
Also, there’s no amd cpu for the 7i/pro 7i and there could’ve been at least an RTX 5070ti for the 7i/5i/5(amd). I think the good news is that the Legion Pro 7i has better speakers now based on the specs. Additionally, all of the 2025 Legion laptops have OLED now.
What seems interesting to me the most is the 15” Legion 5/5i. I think that’s what separates it from the rest. I personally think the form factor is the sweet spot between a 14” and 16” gaming laptop. Out of all the 2025 Legion laptops, those ones stand out to me the most.
Overall, the 2025 variant just doesn't look good to me. I prefer the glacier white Legion 7i design from 2024. Anyways, people what are your overall thoughts on this year's Legion laptops?
