I noticed when it was announced that there is no AMD version of the 7, only the Intel 7i. Is there anything out there stating why only the Legion 5 gets the 9955HX? Or are Lenovo waiting for the 9955HX3D to make the Legion pro 7 or even a Pro 9 AMD.
In terms of gaming performance and multicore, Intel doesn't really have a lead over AMD anymore. The only thing that makes them slightly more challenging is thermal density and how to effectively use liquid metal on a chiplet design. Not that it is impossible as I did it myself.
Any Lenovo insider hints or speculation welcome.
Would you like to see more AMD machines, if so which SKUs?
