Ventiva Cooling Tech Follow Up Post (ShortCircuit Video)

Video

Just a follow up to a post I made a week or so back discussing a new cooling technology (Ventiva) coming to laptops. In that last post, I had mentioned that one major laptop manufacturer, who is now confirmed to be Dell (alongside Intel), has adopted this cooling tech. Tech which in short, ionizes and deionizes air in a safe way to create fan-less airflow.

In the video below from ShortCircuit, more in depth info is given on this tech from the last post. I'm most excited for the more silent cooling achieved here, as mentioned in the video, Dell managed to integrate Ventiva's tech to get the cooling system noise down to 14db, which for reference is not even half the ambient noise in your typical room. The device would be perceivably totally inaudible like devices with passive cooling solutions (such as smartphones/tablets). Hopefully this tech expands to more powerful devices and gets adopted by more companies.

Also, on the vote at the end of the video for what's being debated on to call this type of cooling, my vote is on ion drag.
