What movies based on video games are worth watching?

The first thing I think of when I see a movie being made based off of a game, is that it's going to be awful - and it usually is!

In the last decade or so, I feel like Hollywood has tried a lot harder to create some faithful adaptations of games onto the big screen.

We watched Detective Pikachu recently, which was pretty decent although not fully a "video game" movie. Sonic the Hedgehog was also brilliant fun with the kids. We also tried watching Uncharted, but it was hot garbage 😞

Are there any worth watching that you would recommend?
