What's your gaming/music audio setup looking like? What pair of headphones, speakers, mics, and additional gear such as amps or dacs do you use and how do you feel about them for their purpose? Do you feel you got it just right with competitive edge and sound quality or do you believe you could have done better within your budget? If you believe you could have done better, do you have upgrade plans?
As for my setup, my pair of headphones is the Sennheiser HD599 with the Creative Soundblaster G3 for the amp/dac. Headphone wise, I think I got it just right it for the cost to performance, the HD599 does very well for picking out directions in games as well as beautifully presenting my favorite genre of music, which is rock and still doing great for other genres. Amp wise, definitely could have done better as there are some inconveniences for its cost with needing to reset it routinely as well as the poor build. Aside from that, I'm running an aux cable from my PS5 controller into my pc with it set in the Windows audio settings to listen to that input, this way I can have my console audio and my PC audio all going to the one headphone. Going to try using a USB to 3.5 later on directly from the PlayStation to hopefully get this done better.
