Why the Legion 7i Gen 9 Was the Better Choice for Me

I was deciding between the Asus Zephyrus G16 (2024) and Lenovo Legion 7i Gen 9 (2024) and ultimately went with the 7i. The price difference wasn’t much—just around 130 CAD—but the 7i offered 41% better value for money, making it a smarter choice for me. The G16’s soldered RAM also limited its upgrade potential, whereas the 7i felt more future-proof, which is important to me as a student and potential content creator. Plus, the cooling on the 7i is better overall.
