I'm not sure if this is a "hardware" caused issue, people "on the internet" have suggested it could be.
This is a new thing... so it could very well be a hardware or driver caused issue.
I've only had issues with this crash in Ranked Play.
I've done the "Allow Verify Game Files" multiple times.
Here are the details...
Call of Duty
The application has unexpectedly stopped working.
Error Code: 0xC0000005(0)N
Signature: C7751101-7F71504B-CABC9E26-10F3D995
Location: 0x000000014121338B (17565163)
Executable: game_steam_ship.exe
I've disable all anti-virus already and the only thing that's installed on the device is Steam and Call of Duty.
Quick update. I changed the VRAM (UMA Frame Buffer Size) from 3G to 4G and the issue got worse -- I couldn't start the game, or if it started, as soon as tried to get into a game it crashed. I changed it to "Auto" and ... it just crashed again. Same thing. So changing the "UMA Frame Buffer Size" does not resolve the issue.
