Evening all,
Long time lurker, first time poster. Had my Go since launch in the UK and loving the device.
Anyway, I have been doing a little bit of testing with AFMF as I know it wasn't working and saying inactive and not displaying in the AMD Overlay. Well, it seems it may actually be working but there is a key element I seem to have found that breaks it -- DO NOT HAVE THE AMD OVERLAY ACTIVE! Use your own FPS counter and then bring up the menu in Adrenaline.
I have one of the back buttons as a combo as ALT+R to bring up the Adrenaline panel in game. Fluid Motion Frames is active along with the default Anti Lag. So far this evening I've tested 3 games: -
- Like a Dragon
- Like a Dragon: Ishin
- Two Point Campus
All running at 1200p full screen active.
Now when in game, I press the back button to bring up the overlay and under the performance tab, it is showing a higher frame rate than that of my Afterburner Overlay and the Average FPS in Adrenaline for the games has increased quite a bit compared to running without AFMF active. Below are some screenshots of the games with my Overlay for Afterburner then in the same spot with bringing up the performance overlay in Adrenaline
Just thought I'd share my findings and see if people want to try this method themselves but so far, It seems to be doing it's thing this way and loaded each game up at least a dozen times to check and every time it seems to be working ✌
This is also on the latest default Go display drivers and no side loaded.
