Game (Hotshots Racing) keeps forcing screen rotation upside down

Hello, encountered another problem with one game specifically that I haven't been able to find a fix for yet.

Hotshots Racing forces my screen to rotate upside down. Going into the windows screen settings, only just now noticing that the default seems to be "horizontal, flipped" for normal use. Is that correct or is something wrong? The game forces it to be normal horizontal, which makes it upside down for the system. It's the only game I've encountered so far that does this which is unfortunate. This sort of also made me notice that the device is basically a portrait display that is forced to be horizontal, really? Weird. I imagine this is only a problem here because of that issue.

------

Things I've tried to fix so far that don't work:

Try to rotate the screen while the game is up. As soon as I focus the game again the screen flips upside down.

Tried to activate screen rotation hotkeys in AMD settings. They don't work while the game is up.

Tried both locking and unlocking auto screen rotation, doesn't help.

Tried going into AMD settings for the game and seeing if any settings like scaling will help. They did not.

Connected a oneXgpu and tried playing with that running, did not help.

Tried seeing if there was some setting in game that could help, tried different resolutions, v-sync on and off, nothing there worked so far.

The only fix I've tried so far that works is detaching the controllers and flipping the screen upside down, which I imagine is ... terrible for the cooling system and not what I want.

Some things I have done on my system which I know are different from default: I have a oneXgpu and I have both drivers for that, and I installed manual AMD drivers for the processor following the directions from a youtube channel here:

So far it is only one game that does that, but in case it happens with more games, is there a fix I'm missing? Would be great to be able to play this one using the Go screen.

I am also going to try to connect with an external monitor to see what happens.

Edit As a follow up I tried an external display. I can at least get the second monitor to rotate around and not revert so it's playable on there. But even if the game is on a second screen, it forces the Legion Go screen to flip when the game is in focus,.

Still haven't found a real fix.:
