Is 1tb worth the price upgrade?

I'm debating about buying the 512 GB versus the 1 TB version. It seems to be a considerable pricing increase. I must somewhat moderate gamer and I'm not sure if it's worth going to the one terabyte version just for the storage. Roughly how many AAA games could I have on the 512 version?
