Metallic vibration noise on right controller on high setting after firmware update

Evening all. I had a controller firmware update the other day and since then if I have vibration on high I'm getting a hight pitch metallic sound on the right controller as if it's vibrating more than it can take. Any one else having the same problem? If I change to medium vibration it goes away.
