Hello. I just bought myself a Lenovo Legion Go as a Christmas gift and I’m trying to connect it to my LG C2. I bought a Cable Matters USB-C / HDMI 2.1 8k dock to be able to achieve 4K/120Hz. When I connect it to the C2 Windows recognizes the second display, but is unable to display any signal. After some trial and error I found that disabling „HDMI Deep Colour“ solves the issue, but then I can’t activate HDR or go up to 120Hz.
After some searching for similar Issues I bought a new HDMI cable (Oehlbach Black Magic MK2 - 1.5 meters / 5 feet) which I already use on my LG C1. Before buying I tested it with the cable on my C1 and everything worked.
The new cable arrived today and I immediately tested it, only to face the same issue. I then connected everything (the new cable, the dock and the Legion Go) to my C1 and to my surprise it’s working as I had hoped it would on the C2. I tried connecting it to every HDMI port on my C2 without success. Does anyone have an idea what the difference could be between the C1 and the C2 and why everything works on the C1 but not the C2?
