What has been the defining game for each Nintendo console/ handheld?

It doesn't have to be best selling or best reviewed. It's just the game that in your mind defined the system when you look back it as a whole.

For example I think Breath of the Wild defined Nintendo Switch. It was the first game on the system that due to the massive acclaim it got was the reason so many people bought a Switch in the first place. Conversely the Zelda franchise has also grown massively in popularity due to Switch that now it is on Mario and Pokemon's level of commercial success.
