Dark and Darker is delisted from Steam

A couple days ago Dark and Darker got delisted from Steam due to a DMCA filed by Nexon to Valve: store.steampowered.com/.../

They allege that IronMace stole assets, intellectual property, etc. from Nexon's cancelled P3 game to make Dark and Darker, listing the identical asset file names Dark and Darker has, while IronMace claim that they have done no such thing, that the allegedly stolen assets with identical file names are not stolen at all and are actually the Unreal Engine store-brought assets that both games use, with other assets being made from scratch as well as the code being written from scratch.

Here is a short summary on the situation: kotaku.com/dark-and-darker-nexon-ironmace-pc-korea-police-legal-1850267232

IronMace's response: old.reddit.com/.../

My take is that the big dog, the big Korean game company Nexon, is just being angry that the dev team that worked on the P3 at Nexon, the P3 that Nexon decided to cancel, has left Nexon to start a new gaming company and are now having such success with a game that could have been P3 had Nexon not cancelled it, so Nexon throws sticks under wheels and knowingly false legal accusations onto IronMace to slow them down and potentially financially ruin them by taking their game down from Steam and having to now get a lawyer.

What is your take on this?
