How do you guys keep your bloat low to keep FPS high?

Hey guys, I'm running a Legion 5 17ACH6 (laptop), and the 8GB of ram is not the most enjoyable. Until I upgrade once I got more cash saved, I have to keep the amount of programs I run in the background to a minimum. I don't like it when some things like the Minecraft Lunar Client launcher just runs in the background. MS Edge will just out of nowhere start eating up 100-200MB of ram.

I use Lenovo Vantage to auto close some of these things, and I've uninstalled Voicemod despite the soundboard being fun to use.
