@M2lobaz With Kung Fu Panda I assume you mean Jack Black, who also voiced a few game characters (and did a good job there ihmo)?

About Madagascar, it has a nice cast, do you mean them all in general, or someone in particular?

the whole cast did a great job tbh, but I would go with Marty the Zebra was most fun character

@M2lobaz He was a good one. But my first choice would be Chantel DuBois (voiced by
Frances McDormand). Yes, she was only in Madagascar 3, but I give her extra points for this:

You know I like jazz, but French chanson is also high on my list, so I can't help myself.

@DoctorEldritch I think producers try to be different and there's nothing wrong with it but there are boundaries. They want to adapt or change people's perspectives about things. Disney is doing it all the time now. Disney likes doing this to provoke a response from the public.

I would prefer they stick to the original script.

@DracoTarot By "original script" do you mean to stick to the canon Mario accent?

But I agree about Disney, it's been very hit-or-miss lately with them. I wish they re-examined their MO.

@DoctorEldritch Yea! original accents and original storylines. They can add a few extra things here and there to make it more exciting.

I mean Superman can fly, but all of a sudden he can't anymore and he has a new superpower of running fast or Wolverine has no blades in his hands and in a new movie he has them on his back.

    Doesn't work and never will.

Mario needs his accent back. It's a real spaghetti incident. 😂

@DracoTarot Wait, what's that about Superman? He can't fly anymore?

A trivia fact: originally, he actually could not fly, in first version of him. Back when he first appeared in comics, he only could "jump on top of the tallest building", that iconic "one fist up" flight he got later. So maybe it is a homage to vintage Superman.

That being said, nowadays it is canon he can fly, so where can't he?

As for superspeed, not his original power, but he has super-human speed, and those races with Flash are canon.

About Wolverine though, never heard of it till now, how would that even work? Is he a Porcupine now?

@DoctorEldritch. Very interesting. I read on a movie forum Superman would not be airborne in the newest movie and would only be able to move fast on land.

The comic makes sense and what you said. I think it's going to be a homage to the first Superman. We all got used to him flying and it would be strange to see Superman without a cape.

Referring to Wolverine I meant it metaphorically, I wanted to say imagine they took away his blades and put spikes on his back. It won't work well.

I'm just pointing out the weird things movie and script writers are coming up with. Changing accents of characters can also lead to changing a hero or villain's whole look. Who's stopping them? They proceeded with Mario and made him English LOL!!

@DracoTarot Well, it could be a homage to the first version, nowadays it's all about reboots and reboots and dusting off the old ideas, so falls within trends, I'd say.

Ah, I thought they did it to Wolverine already. It could work for Porcupine-man, but redoing one of the iconic characters like that would not work. Though it could be used in a parody, there it could work pretty well. I mean, The Boys comic (which the series is somewhat based on) had a Wolverine parody called Ground Hawk with hammers for hands. And it worked partly because it was so ridiculous.

Well, producers do it all the time, just look at the Death Note film adaptation. In addition to other issues it has, I found casting choices strange (at best). Why not just film a remake and say so, as they did with The Ring (Halloween reference!)? It worked better for that series when they set out to do a clear remake from the start.
