If you're a fan of Elder Scrolls or RPG games in general you'll probably already be aware of this project. Fans of The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall decided to remaster the game and fix the bugs left unpatched by Bethesda when they abandoned the game years ago.
That Project (more a labour of love really) has now reached release stage with 1.0
The project home page has download links for the required files and instructions of how best to utilise them. There is a complete free cross-platform version or you can add the free game mods only to an existing install of Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall from Steam where you can download the game for free.
