Discord is getting sued for providing a place where kids can be and some users showed the children explicit or inappropriate content.
This sounds like a classic "Section 230" case to me. Lawyer walks in, mutters section 230, case dismissed, everybody leaves. It means websites can't be held accountable for what any users post on their platform.
Lenovo, for example, is not responsible for what an independent commenter like myself writes here. Not their fault and they are not legally obligated to stop me or take it down. Their actions are at the discretion of the mods and admins.
